"Teen Mom 2" star Chelsea Houska is reportedly considering leaving the MTV series. Chelsea, who is a favorite among fans, has been talking a lot about valuing her privacy now that she's getting older, is married, and has expanded her family. Fans are freaking out after reports that Chelsea wanted to leave the show surfaced, and the network hired another cast member, seemingly to fill Chelsea's shows if and when she exits.
Chelsea may be leaving MTV for good
According to Real Mr. Housewife, Chelsea Houska was thinking about leaving "Teen Mom 2," and she is still be considering it.
However, fans can rest assured that Houska, who is a new wife and mother of 2, will have a place on the show when Season 8 debuts later this year. Although Chelsea will be seen in Season 8 of the series, it seems that MTV is covering their bases in case she, or any of the other cast members wants to exit the show. Recently, it was reported that former "Teen Mom 3" star Briana DeJesus was going to be joining the cast for Season 8, and fans immediately began to wonder why. Well, it looks like Chelsea expressing her feelings of potentially quitting the show may be why.
Briana DeJesus set to replace Chelsea on the show?
"Teen Mom 2" fans are currently hoping that Chelsea Houska will change her mind about possibly leaving the series, even though MTV has already added Briana DeJesus to the mix.
Fans have watched Chelsea's life since she was a teenager, and have been with her as she struggled as a single mother, up until now when she's found her prince charming in Cole DeBoer, and become a mother again to a baby boy named Watson. The show just wouldn't be the same without her.
Thankfully, one source revealed that Chelsea has a great producer who can hep her avoid the "chaos MTV likes to push."
Will the show lose fans if Chelsea leaves?
Fans can't even image "Teen Mom 2" without Chelsea Houska, but that may soon be a reality. The fan favorite mom seems to be getting to the point where she doesn't want to share as much of her personal life with the world, and while viewers would obviously miss seeing her and her adorable family, it's understandable that the show can't go on forever.
However, many viewers tune in just to watch Chelsea, who is one of the most stable stars of the franchise. Along with her super cute daughter, Aubree, and her relationship with Cole, fans would also miss her funny dad, Randy, if she were to decide to leave her Reality TV days behind her.
