"Stranger Things" Season 2 is one of the most anticipated TV series, and while waiting, fans are happy to read about speculations and theories that emerge online. One famous update about the series is its focus on the Upside Down world. To recall, the trailer was released two months ago which left many questions in the mind of the readers. But one thing is for sure, fans will get to see more of the Upside Down world.

The Upside Down world

The Upside Down world is a parallel dimension which was featured in Season 1. Everything in the said universe is in a decaying state.

It is noted that villain Demogorgon is from that place and it is also where he abducts his victims. Although Demogorgon already died in the first season, speculations reveal that Will Byers is carrying some eggs of the big bad when he came back from the said dimension after being there for a week. It was Eleven who saved him from the dangerous place. But when he returned, he coughed a slug-like creature which may be a host of something undesirable.

"The question is whether they're real or not," said "Stranger Things" co-creator Matt Duffer. "So it seems like he's having some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder." (Express).

Will has been seeing images of the Upside Down world and he is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

With that, Mike and the team will investigate the mysterious location. This would mean that the gang will be facing threats and danger once again.

Barb's death

Aside from their exploration of the Upside Down world, the death of Barb will be tackled once again. Like the death of Nancy, Barb's demise will also be given closure.

This means that the beloved character will no longer be resurrected.

David Harbour who plays the role of police chief Jim Hopper previously said that they will deal with the internet rage over Barb's death but she is not coming back to the show because "she is very much dead." Hopper will also work hard to keep the Upside Down world a secret from the rest of the town of Hawkins.

"Stranger Things" season 2 will be available for streaming on Oct. 31 on Netflix.
