A lot are now excited for the upcoming musical episode of “Once Upon a Time” Season 6. Titled “The Song in your Heart,” fans will finally see the nuptial of Emma Swan (Jennifer Morison) and Captain Killian 'Hook' Jones (Colin O'Donoghue).
Entertainment Tonight got the first photos of the wedding and from the looks of it, Hook looks very dapper in his outfit. In an interview with the said publication, the 36-year-old star talked about his dashing look and the much-awaited marriage ceremony.
The look of Hook
O'Donoghue gave the credits to the show’s showrunner Eddy Kitsis for his handsome look.
He revealed that they were supposed to try a different outfit, but Kitsis insisted that it should be a black velvet suit. In fact, he even made fun of it by describing it as a soft cloth to wear.
Kitsis, on the other hand, narrated that he and the “OUAT” co-executive producer Adam Horowitz already had a specific image for Hook’s look in their minds. The two believed that the character should wear a tuxedo that would perfectly reflect his own personality.
Hence, it would definitely not a leather outfit of an ordinary tuxedo. "We felt like he had to have a little edge to it so the velvet felt like the Hook version of fancy,” he described.
With his elegant look, “The Dust Storm” actor was then asked if he feels "suave" about his wedding outfit.
Evidently, he was a little shy and a little awkward when he said that he guess he was quite charming and he really hopes he looks fine.
Morrison, of course, also has a comment about her on-screen partner’s look in the upcoming episode of “Once Upon a Time” Season 6. The 38-year-old actress said that his soon-to-be husband in the show looks very amazing in his black velvet tuxedo.
The “House” star revealed that O'Donoghue feels a little jealous of the attention his attire is getting, thus she is trying to flatter him with his looks while wearing his suit.
A sentimental wedding
Moreover, Morrison teased that fans’ brains are going to explode when they finally see the nuptial of her character as Emma and Hook.
Alternatively, O'Donoghue described it as a little emotional saying that he thinks that the newlyweds will be very happy.
The Irish actor-musician explained that up to this point in “Once Upon a Time” Season 6, the on-screen couple had been through a lot of ups and downs. Hence, reaching this point in their lives in spite of the things waiting for them is simply impressive. The much-awaited wedding will be featured in “The Song in Your Heart” episode airing on May 7 on ABC.
