Alright, "Doctor Who" fans. Thanks to our spoilertv.com sources, we were able to get our hands on the official synopsis from BBC ONE for the upcoming episode 3 of the current season 10. I just got done reading it, and it sounds like this episode is going to give us another very weird and intense ride as The Doctor and Bill, hit up another, freaking weird land called the frost fairs. Unfortunately, they will find that people have been disappearing, which means this will not be a vacation for them. These two are going to be putting in some work to try to figure out what the hell is going on, and more!
It's called "Thin Ice"
They of course, also revealed what the producers decided to name this installment. It's aptly titled: "Thin Ice." According to the synopsis , the scene for this episode will be set in Regency England, beneath the frozen Thames area, and there is definitely going to be some crazy stuff, stirring up down there! At some point in time, we'll be seeing our two main characters, The Doctor and Bill, show up at what they refer to, as the last of the great frost fairs.
While there, things will ,apparently, get real crazy as they're going to discover that people have actually been vanishing on the ice! Say what? Yep, it's true, and they tell us that these seemingly impossible disappearances are going to definitely prompt the duo to launch some intense and extensive investigative actions into this in effort to hopefully find out what exactly in the hell is going down with this whole mess.
Will their efforts, end up paying off? Or will these crazy vanishings just be too much of a mystery, and just keep happening? Unfortunately, that's all they revealed about that particular situation in their press release, so we're just going to have to wait to see how all that plays out. However, we can definitely be sure that this will give us some more crazy scenes to look forward to.
Not much difference
To cap off their description, they mentioned some more information about Bill. Apparently, she's going to start to realize that the past is not too much different than her world. In fact, it's way more of the same than she originally thought, because the main take away will be that not all monsters come from outer space.
This episode was written by Sarah Dollard ,and Bill Anderson took on the directing duties for it.
Alright, so that's all the official facts that we were able to gather for episode 3, so that's going to wrap up this little spoiler session. However, be sure to check around Youtube later on tonight or tomorrow, because there should be a preview clip or two for the next episode, which will of course, feature some additional details that weren't included in the synopsis. Plus, you'll get to see a glimpse of the scenes in visual action. The episode is confirmed to air next Saturday, April 29th,2017 at 2:30 pm on BBC ONE. Stay tuned.
