Recently, the FOX promotion team, served up the latest press release spoilers for their upcoming "Designated Survivor" episode 18 of the current season 1. They gave us about four storyline scoops to go over, and they sound quite intriguing and heavily dramatic as a major scandal arises with Kimble all wrapped up in it! Hannah and Jason return with a new lead that is very significant. We'll also be seeing the White House put up a big fight to protect one of their own, and more!
It's "Lazarus"
In their press release, they let us know that the producers have decided to name this one: "Lazarus." To start off their official description, they put ,in all caps, that we're going to see the White House try to fight to protect one of their own.
I would look for that storyline to get a lot of attention, since they took the time to really highlight that one in all caps. The big questions with this storyline, is who is the one they're fighting for? Will they actually be able to protect this person? It looks like we'll have to wait for this episode to air to find out.
The candidates
Next, they let us know that President Kirkman is going to be quite busy, trying to look over all the candidates that are lined up to take over the Vice President position. Will Kirkman finally decide who he wants to be his Vice President? Or will they just let this debacle drag out over a few more episodes? Those are some important questions for this scenario.
Not doing too well
Next, they let us know that we're going to see Kimble in action, at some point. However, it doesn't sound like she'll be doing too well as they tell us that she's going to find herself caught up in a huge, scandalous situation. What will this huge scandal be about? Will there be a way out for Kimble? Unfortunately, they didn't tell us more about that storyline, so it looks like we'll have to just wait and see.
One thing's for sure, is that it should give us some pretty dramatic scenes.
A very critical lead
Elsewhere, we've got Agent Hanna Wells and Jason Atwood in some more scenes. They tell us that these two will be seen, finally returning from their North Dakota road trip, and that they will have a new, very critical lead in their possession.
How will they end up using this new lead? What will this new lead entail? Hopefully, they'll answer those big questions in this episode.
Last teaser
Lastly, we finally arrived at our last spoiler teaser. It involves journalist Abe Leonard. He's currently trying to pull off an investigation, but it sounds like things are not going to go quite as he expected as they reveal that a very surprising turn is going to take place with it. Will this new turn be too much for Abe to handle? Or will it just create a minor set back? Again, we won't be able to find that out until this thing airs. However, me might see a few glimpses of some things in the new preview clip for episode 18 that's expected to get released after episode 17 airs, tonight, so be sure to look out for that. This episode was written by Jennifer Johnson, and Chris Grismer directed it. Episode 18 is scheduled to show up next Wednesday night, April 26th,2017 at 9pm central time on FOX. Stay tuned.
