In recent years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded at a phenomenal rate. In 2017, the studio has plans to release three exciting films, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and “Thor: Ragnarok.” Marvel has recently confirmed that The Hulk, Captain America, and Thor would be a part of upcoming MCU movies. It would not be wrong to say that these Marvel characters have become household names.
1. 'The Hulk'
Perhaps the Hulk has never appeared on the big screen in recent months, but Marvel claims that this character will soon be seen in “The Incredible Hulk.” Previously, the studio released a movie with the same name, and it was a blockbuster.
Director Louis Leterrier has refused to talk about the plot and cast of the film. The Hulk is a fictional superhero created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. It is both muscular and green-skinned. The idea of creating the Hulk came from Frankenstein and Jekyll Hyde. Until now, dozens of novels have been written, and various television series have showcased this superhero. The Hulk has also been adapted in animated movies, and video game incarnations. Marvel says that Eric Bana will play the Hulk in the upcoming film.
2. 'Captain America'
In a few weeks, Marvel will kick off “Secret Empire,” the culmination of a year-long arc that has seen Steve Rogers. The studio says it will launch Captain America on the big screen.
Three MCU movies are in the works, including “The Avengers,” “Captain America: The First Avenger,” and “Captain America: Civil War.” A recently released teaser trailer for “Captain America: Civil War” gives glimpses of the main character who struggles with deceit. Scriptwriter Nick Spencer says that “Secret Empire” is another movie that will showcase Captain America as the main hero.
We have high expectations for this project.
3. 'Thor'
Thor is a fictional superhero appearing in dozens of books published by Marvel Comics. The character is based on the Norse mythological deity of the same name. In recent years, Thor has gained tremendous success. The studio says it will launch this character in upcoming MCU movies in a completely new look.
Thor first appeared in “Journey into Mystery,” and the movie was a blockbuster. Now we look forward to “The Avengers,” “Thor: The Dark World,” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” According to Stan Lee, a writer at Marvel, Thor will now appear in a new costume. Fans have high expectations for the MCU movies.
