Game of Thrones Season 7 is getting even more hyped as HBO dropped a new series of on-set photos that tease the show’s future. From Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), and, of course, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), many fans are looking forward to the new season. Evidently, winter has come and they all have to prepare for the danger it brings, not to mention the clash between the kingdoms that is looming.

New season’s start

“Game of Thrones” Season 7 will start where the last chapter left off. As seen in the snaps, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) is sitting on the Iron Throne while her brother/lover Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is standing by her side.

Clearly, although he gave his sister a disgusting look when she was being proclaimed, he stood by her.

The Lady of Bear Island Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey) is also back and staying up in the North. Behind her is Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) sneaking and following her every move. In a different snap, Petyr Baelish can also be seen standing beside Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) while looking over the Winterfell courtyard, and from the looks of it, he still wants the daughter of Ned Stark (Sean Bean) to be his queen.

Fans will also see the return of Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann). As he joined the Brotherhood Without Banners from the previous season, they are now on the loose to travel up in the North for a mission.

The group is set to fight the worsening danger that is coming against mankind.

The Stark reunion, Daenerys’ arrival

HBO also gave a glimpse of Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and from the looks of it; she is still in the Riverlands. To recall, she killed Walder Frey (David Bradley) in the previous season finale and it seems she has no new victim yet.

Moreover, another Stark is seen on the scene with Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright). Meera (Ellie Kendrick) is pulling what seems like a sled with Bran in it. If Arya and Bran finally make it to Winterfell, they will be welcomed by the new King of the North, none other than their brother Jon Snow, who now looks very much like Ned.

Finally, Khaleesi has set foot in Westeros as the photos showed. She is seen with Tyrion, Varys (Conleth Hill), Grey Worm (Jacob Andersen), and Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel).

Other highlights

There is also a questioning picture of Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray) reading inside the Citadel. And from the looks of it, the latter is reading about "Azhor Ahai," the legendary hero who is predicted to return and save Westeros from its darkest hour.

Lastly, to make things light, it seems like Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) will pursue his love for Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) as they are seen together looking at each other. “Game of Thrones” Season 7 will be released on July 16th on HBO.
