The Hollywood actress, Zoe Saldana, says that ‘Avengers 4’ does not have ‘Gauntlet’ or a similar keyword in the title.
In an interview for “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2,” Saldana accidentally revealed the title of unnamed “Avengers” movie. It has set the internet ablaze with speculations that the film’s title has been finalized. However, the director states that “Avengers: The Infinity Gauntlet” is not the correct name of the movie.
Speaking to Yahoo! Movies yesterday, Anthony Russo said Zoe has misspoken, and the film’s title will be kept secret for a few more months.
The untitled ‘Avengers’ film
For the time being, it is named as “Avengers 4.” This action movie is based on the Marvel Comics superhero “Avengers,” co-produced by Marvel Studios. Upon its release on May 3, 2019, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures will distribute the film worldwide. It is a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” and the twenty-second film installment in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus have joined hands to pen the story and dialogues of “Avengers 4.” The cast includes Josh Brolin, Robert Downey, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, and Evangeline Lilly. Anthony Mackie, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, and Tom Holland are returning from the previous installment.
Announcement for the sequel
In November 2014, the film was announced as a part of “Avengers: Infinity War.” The Russo brothers were recruited to direct and co-produce in April 2015, and by June, McFeely and Markus were signed to pen the story and dialogues.
Shooting will begin this August after the post-production of “Avengers: Infinity War.” In July 2016, Alan Silvestri was hired to compose the movie score.
Previously, he wrote the score for both “Infinity War,” and “The Avengers.”
