The Walking DeadSeason 7 will soon come to an end, and now fans are thinking what will be the major cliffhanger of the show. As Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is now gearing up to bring Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) down, it seems the villain knows his plans that he is eyeing to contradict.

With the impending battle about to happen, some are now casting their predictions who will die next. The post-apocalyptic television series is known for featuring bloody endings and saying goodbye to its beloved characters, and it seems everyone knows who is going to take the final bow.

The expectations in season finale

There are swirling reports that Sasha (Sonequa Martin) is about to say goodbye in “The Walking Dead” Season 7 finale. To recall, in the penultimate episode, she expressed that she wanted to die so Negan can’t use her to take hold of her friends. Hence, she was planning to commit suicide.

Moreover, according to the Hollywood Reporter, there is a big chance that the dead will return, somehow, in the last episode of the show. The television series is also known for bringing back its late characters, either through visions or remembering.

So, it might be possible that fans will see the glimpse of either Glenn (Steven Yeun) or Abraham (Michael Cudlitz). And there are strong assumptions that it might be Abe because of his romantic connection with Sasha.

Lastly, although Negan and Rick might face each other this time, unfortunately, it won’t be the end of the leader of the Savior. It has been said that one episode is not enough to contain the epic battle between the two leaders.

Although it might be possible that Negan will lose the battle in the final episode, the war may still continue.

Hence, fans can expect to see their fight to last until “The Walking Dead” Season 8.

Showrunner teases the end

Meanwhile, in an interview with the showrunner Scott M. Gimple, he teased that “The Walking Dead” Season 7 finale to Entertainment Weekly. “I will say it’s everything … the highs and lows, brightness and darkness, alpha to omega, a quiet-loud-sad-happy tragi redemptive circus of emotion, anguish, and grace,” he hinted.

“I hope people feel it all come together and have that rush you feel when the roller coaster finally coasts back to the platform,” he added. The final episode titled “The First Day of the Rest of Your Life” will air on April 2 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
