"Full House" fans will remember cute little Michelle Tanner. She was portrayed by twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. The sisters, as Michelle, practically grew up on screen. After the show ran its course, the twins were in a few movies. They declined, however, to reunite with cast mates for the Netflix series "Fuller House." The new show catches up with the Tanner clan in later years.

Mary Kate and Ashley were the only series originals who did not return for the spinoff. The twins have been, for the most, part living their lives privately. Both graduated from New York University, and are promoting joint business ventures.

They recently did an interview with The Edit, to let fans know they are doing just fine.

The Olsen twins and their next chapter

Many child stars have had their lives turned upside down. Some have had their fortunes stolen, while others dealt with substance abuse. Sadly, a few child stars have passed away. The Olsen twins, who will be 31 on June 13th of this year, appear to be quite grounded. They also continue to be successful, in their personal lives as well as the corporate world.

In 2015, Mary Kate married 47-year-old Olivier Sarkaszy, and she is busy helping to raise her two step children. Sister Ashley is dating 58-year-old Richard Sachs, who is an art collector and financier. Business-wise, the twins have their own brands.

Together they promote The Row which is a high-end fashion line. In addition, they are busy with lifestyle brand Elizabeth and James. There is also a fragrance, Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Eau de perfume spray, sold at Macy's. The young ladies also have a successful clothing line at Walmart.

Mary Kate and Ashley are to be commended, for their ability to adapt to change.

They easily transitioned from the world of childhood stardom, and emerged as fashion saavy business moguls. Based on past and current performance, things appear to be going well for the twins. "Full House" fans need not worry, little Michelle Tanner is going to be alright.
