There have been some concerns about "General Hospital" star kirsten storms. Since the beginning of 2017, she has remained rather silent on social media. There have been a few posts here and there but nothing like before. Storms used to spend time answering fans and sharing personal photos and moments on her social media accounts. Her appearance also started looking more frail and there were some changes with her makeup and hair color.
Where is Maxie Jones?
After Maxie (Kirsten Storms) got fired by Nina (Michelle Stafford), she essentially disappeared.
She has not been around for Lulu (Emme Rylan) as she battles Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) for custody of Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). "General Hospital" fans have been wondering where she has been. It was announced a few weeks ago that Storms was indeed taking a leave of absence from the show but no specifics were announced.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, there is a possibility that the "General Hospital" writers could send Maxie to visit her daughter in Seattle. This would definitely give them time to figure out where to go with the story line, but what about Nathan (Ryan Paevey)? He was off for a few weeks filming a movie but is due back next week. How will they explain where Maxie is since she has been off the canvas for a few weeks already with no mention of where she went?
What is happening with Kirsten?
There is no information about what is happening with Kirsten Storms. Back in February there was a lot of concern vocalized from "General Hospital" fans about her appearance and lack of presence on social media. Almost four weeks later, it was confirmed that she would be taking a leave of absence.
Storms has done this twice in the past; once when she had her daughter Harper and the time before that when she was battling endometriosis. Fans are concerned and hope that someone will release some information or a statement soon.
"General Hospital" isn't the same without Maxie Jones, especially when there are scenes where Lulu needs her best friend. As of now, there is no intent to have a recast for the character like in the past.
