Maddie Ziegler is definitely getting more and more popular each day even after leaving "Dance Moms." Watching her on TV on the hit Lifetime show since she was just eight years old, fans can definitely and easily spot the "Ballerina" star from the crowd. Is this the reason why Maddie has been using a fake name to avoid fans from knowing her whereabouts?
While taking a break from her busy schedule, Maddie Ziegler played the popular game called, “Never Have I Ever.” When asked if she ever used a fake name, the 14-year-old dancer, actress and model revealed that she indeed have tried using a fake name.
Maddie Ziegler changes her name and hides from fans during the tour with Sia?
“When we were on tour when we would stay in a hotel room, Sia and I had to come up with a fake name,” Maddie admitted. “So people, like fans, wouldn’t see us.” Although that sounded a bit harsh, celebrities using a fake name is not that uncommon. Hollywood stars normally opt for a different name to keep their privacy so they can do whatever they want without fans knowing they were even there.
Maddie Ziegler and Sia wanting to get their privacy are quite understandable as they were trying to keep their focus on the show. If fans would know which hotel they were staying at the time, then they would be filling up the location, which will only cause a distraction for the duo.
Maddie Ziegler is more than just a ‘Dance Moms’ alum
Maddie and Sia became real good friends after their mega-successful collaboration in the Australian superstar’s “Chandelier” music video. The 41-year-old singer was a fan of “Dance Moms” where she spotted the young dancer, contacted her, and the rest is history.
The “Ballerina” actress has initially found fame on the hit Lifetime show as a part of the Abby Lee Dance Company Junior Elite Competition Team.
Now, Maddie Ziegler has added model, actress, author and businesswoman to her already impressive resume. The teen is one of the most promising stars of her generation and has become an inspiration to young kids who aspires to be a professional dancer like her.
