Tomorrow night, the season finale of "Dance Moms" will air on Lifetime TV, but there's one little snag in the plans for the upcoming seasons: Abby Lee Miller might be going to jail this week! So, will Chloe Lukasiak take over the lead duties?
Chloe Lukasiak may be the answer "Dance Moms" is looking for
A recent report suggests that an old friend of the show, chloe lukasiak, will be taking over the hosting duties when Abby Lee Miller is sentenced for her part in a fraud scheme. According to Federal prosecutors, Abby Lee Miller made more money than she reported she'd made, and attempted to hide it to avoid paying taxes on it.
Abby Lee Miller's argument is that she fully intended to pay back the money that she'd earned from "Dance Moms," but she'd made money so quickly that she didn't know what to do.
Nevertheless, the show will continue, at least for now, with Chloe taking over for the hosting duties for the season finale.
Some rumors suggest that this "Dance Moms" season finale may actually be the series finale.
In a recent interview, Chloe Lukasiak suggested that she would be more than happy to take over the duties, should it come down to it. And she was happy to return to "Dance Moms," even though she didn't exactly leave under the best of circumstances after season four.
"I miss the relationship that we used to have just because for the two years I’ve been off doing my own thing, and they’ve been still on the show, so we’ve just kind of grown apart," said Chloe.
"It was really nice to see them again and reconnect."
Chloe went on to say that she's still good friends with a lot of her former "Dance Moms" co-stars and that she's especially close to Nia.
Fortunately, Chloe doesn't need the show to get recognition. She just finished shooting two films that will be released this year, and she made her feature film debut in On Pointe late last year.
She's also won several awards, including a Teen Choice Award and an Industry Award, in 2015.
