The 'Festival of Sanremo' is the most popular Italian music festival, held annually in the city of Sanremo. It was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.
The third night of the sanremo music festival 2017 presented by Carlo Conti and Maria De Filippi attracted an average of 10.424 million viewers on Tuesday, 49.7% of the Tv audience share. That was slightly down from the 10.467 million viewers registered on an equivalent night in 2016. The highlights of the third night included 'Orquesta de Instrumentos Reciclados' from Paraguay, British star Mika with a cover of 'Jesus to a Child,' Annabelle Belmondo, Anouchka Delon, and LP.

The third night of Sanremo 2017 featured the 16 Big artists, famous call of which performed cover versfamousItalian songs or international hits. Competing singers also had the choice to perform the exhibition with a guest artist.

The winner of the last night, after the voting of the press jury and the TV viewers was Ermal Meta with a song of Domenico Modugno.
The six big artists that did not manage to qualify to tomorrow’s night of Sanremo had a last possibility to remain in the competition.
They sang again their tracks and the bottom two were eliminated. The two artists that were excluded from the Sanremo Music Festival are: Nesli and Paba with 'Do retta a te' and Raige and Luzi with 'Togliamoci la voglia'.
