Hey, "Arrow" peeps. We're back at you with some new, official spoilery intel from the CW. This session will cover the upcoming episode 12 of the current season 5. They were pretty generous with their reveals, giving us three or four storyline spoiler scoops. It turns out that we're going to see the action, move to Russia when Team Arrow decides to hit it up to carry out their latest mission. Elsewhere, there's going to be some major issues with Lance that goes down, and more.
They're looking for Anatoly to start off with
We also got a very unique and short title for this episode.
The producers have named it: "Bratva." They started off the synopsis part of their press release by highlighting in all caps that Oliver will, indeed, be returning to Russia, so we'll probably see a lot of focus on that particular storyline. In it, we'll also be seeing Felicity and the rest of the team, joining Oliver for the Russia trip. While there, they are going to eventually have a little meet-up with one of Oliver's friends from the past, who will go by the name: Anatoly, played by guest star, David Nykl.
They didn't reveal any further info about this plotline, so it'll be very interesting to find out what this so-called mission entails and how this Anatoly character will be able to help them out, if at all.
Hopefully, that will be covered in full in this episode, but it sounds like it could easily extend beyond it, so we'll see.
He doesn't want to talk about it
Elsewhere, we'll be seeing some stuff going down with Lance. They tell us that he's going to show back up at the mayor's office after undergoing some intense rehab sessions, and will really be all hyped up to dive right back into the work.
However, he apparently isn't going to feel the same way about granting interviews, because we learn that Susan is going to try to ask for an interview from him, at some point, to talk about what went down with his addiction problem. He will reply by hesitating and totally trying to avoid it.
Rene steps in
In response to that, we'll be seeing Rene, attempt to step in and do something to keep things on track.
They didn't explain exactly what keeping things on track means in this situation, so we're not sure if she will try to get Lance to do the interview, or just keep him calm. It'll be interesting to see how that whole scene plays out.
Alright, so that's going to be it for this session. However, as always, be sure to be on the lookout for the new promo/spoiler clip scheduled to pop up after episode 11 airs later on, tonight. It should deliver some scenes that weren't mentioned in their written synopsis. Episode 12 is official set to hit the airwaves next Wednesday night, February 1st, 2017 at 7pm central time on The CW. Stay tuned.
