Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are friendly exes! Since the two broke up and Ian married "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed, some people seemed to think that they hated each other. Some fans knew that Nina was friendly with Nikki in the past and wondered if the women had just dropped their friendship after Ian proposed. However, it looks like the three are still super cool and doing just fine!

Ian and Nina are still friends

Despite what you might have read online, Ian and Nina are still friends post-relationship and post-"The Vampire Diaries." While many fans had hoped to see the two get back together, they decided that they were just better off as friends.

Surely not every moment was easy, but they have worked things out and they seem to be getting along swimmingly these days. And it works for them, which is really all that matters.

Ian, Nina, and Nikki, oh my!

On Tuesday, Dobrev shared a picture of herself along with her ex-boyfriend and his wife. She made no mention of the feud rumors and just let the photo speak for itself. A short while later, Nikki Reed posted a different photo of herself, Ian, and Nina, and addressed the "baseless rumors" in her caption. She said that she believed that staying silent was the "best way" to deal with such rumors but she wanted to take a moment to set the record straight.

Nikki said that staying quiet for so long only seemed to fuel rumors, so she wanted to address what many people have been talking about for years. She called the tabloid/media stories "bullsh*t" and said that she wanted to "turn the page" with fans as a way to "set an example of how important it is to stop this trend of writing horrible headlines about women, painting us as bitter, angry, insecure, heartbroken, childless, feuding, backstabbing monsters." "The Vampire Diaries' has ended, just like "Nian"

Now that "TVD" is officially over, Ian and Nina will be even less connected. However, that doesn't mean that they won't still talk and that they will end their friendship. They seem to really respect each other, which is super important.
