"Family Matters" star Darius Mccrary is the latest Hollywood celeb to have suffered a major breakdown. McCrary reportedly went berserk during a recent confrontation with his wife Tammy Brawner on February 10th, threatening her and the couple's 16-month old daughter Zoey. Darius is best known for his role on the comedy sitcom "Family Matters" which ran from 1989-1997 as Eddie Winslow.
Tammy Brawner to file for divorce from Darius McCrary
A restraining order has been granted against the actor as per requested by Brawner. Tammy described the events of the evening stating that her husband completely lost it and began throwing household items and destroying many before hitting her in the head with his forearm.
During his fit of rage, Tammy claims he came very close to hitting their child with the items he was throwing. Brawner also claims that this is not the first time she has suffered Darius' abuse.

The court docs also reveal Tammy recalling one past evening during one of Darius' fits of rage when he held their young daughter over a pot of boiling water screaming that he "wished he had never had her." Documents obtained by TMZ state that Tammy has also accused McCrary of frequently spanking the child and strapping down her arms during meals.
Brawner also states that McCrary has come home wasted and violent. An official restraining order placed against McCrary orders the actor to vacate the family home.
He has also been court ordered to stay 100 yards away from both Tammy and Zoey without visitation until after the court hearing in March. Tammy reveals that she plans to immediately file for divorce.
McCrary's attorney recently spoke out, responding to the recent allegations, according to the New York Daily News, stating that Tammy Brawner is "not a victim" but is trying to extort money and advantage from his client in an impending divorce case.
