Ok, so now it's time to go over these new, very interesting spoiler teasers for the upcoming "Showdowhunters" episode 5 of the current season 2, straight from Freeform's latest press release. We've got Simon, trying to move back home to be with his family, but it doesn't sound like it's going to take very well. Elsewhere, in Shadowhunter land, they'll all be trying to regroup after the hefty attack they just suffered at the institute, and more.
They're severely hurt
The title that we have for this week's installment, is: " Dust and Shadows." It sounds sort of spooky.
Anyways, lets dive right into this official description. First, we've got this regrouping thing as possibly being the main focus of this episode, since Freeform made sure to put that part in all caps. It turns out that all the Shadowhunters are going to be understandably devastated by the major attack they just encountered. They will also be badly wounded, so that doesn't sound good at all.
Picking up the pieces
Next, we learn that despite all that, they are going to try to regroup while each one of them deals with what happen in their own, special way. They didn't go into detail about how each one of them will deal, so that'll be something pretty interesting to look for. However, they did mention that Clary will be her usual self, looking to immediately take extreme actions even though they may not be the smartest decisions.
Unfortunately, they didn't reveal what the hell she's going to do, but you better believe it'll certainly be something that's sporadic in nature. I'm definitely interested in seeing what she tries to pull off.
Problems with the family
Then in this last storyline teaser, they mentioned that things are probably about to get even more interesting with Simon's character, because he's going to try to move back home with his family, but he's definitely going to run into some problems, trying to live his new life around them.
Will he be able to make the necessary adjustments? Or will he have to move out ? Those are some burning questions for this scenario, which will probably get answered in the next, few episodes, because this situation definitely sounds like more than a one-episode wrap up.
