The former lighting director for the soap opera "General Hospital" is said to be proud of the relationship between his actress daughter and Harry. Meghan's older brother, Thomas Markle Jr., 50, has not met his sister's royal boyfriend yet, but he has concluded that Meghan and the Prince are definitely happy and in love.
Meghan and Thomas Jr. share the same father but not the same mother. Meghan was born during her father's second marriage to her mother Doria Ragland, 60, from whom he is now divorced. Thomas Jr was born during his father's marriage to his first wife, Roslyn. It is unclear whether Prince Harry has met Meghan's mother yet. If not, it might be soon.
