Hey, "Lucifer" peeps. I'm just going to jump straight into this. It's bad news, guys. Your favorite show is not going to have anymore new episodes until May 2017, so the official spoilers for episode 14 of season 2, won't be around until FOX decides to cough up their press release for it, which could be at anytime by the way. It's totally up to them, of course. However, given the fact that they have about 2 and half to three months until the show returns, I wouldn't hold my breathe on it getting released anytime soon.

But listen. It's not the end of days, because we'll more than likely get some unofficial spoilers when the press hits up the producers for some hints and possible teasers, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for those. Now, getting back to this return date. We do have an exact one. You will want to mark down Monday, May 1st, 2017 at 8pm central time, because that will be the magical day that all the new episodes will start back up. We also have a title for that first episode. It turns out that the production team, decided to name this one "Candy Morningstar." You have the show's wikia page to thank for that intel. The episode was directed by Claudia Yarmy ,and Jenn Kao handled the task of writing the script for it.

Their wikia page also offered up some more intel, which we believe might be the reason for this long break. You see. We're actually lucky that it's just a break and not actually the season finale. It turns out that the FOX folks thought the show was doing so got damn well that they decided to give season 2 an actual full season 22 episode order on October 31st, 2016.
Apparently, the show originally got just a 13 episode order to start off with, so that's all that they had filmed for. Then when they got the extra 9 episode order in October, they had to start filming again. That coupled with all the editing and production they have to do, takes quite a bit of time. So, my guess is they just wouldn't have them ready until May.
So, even though it sounds like a really long break, which it is. It actually would have been the end of season 2, all together, instead of just a break.
Anyways, with that said, FOX might have put together, at least, a new promo/spoiler clip for episode 14. If they did, it'll pop up after episode 13 finishes later on tonight, so make sure to be on the look out for that as it will give you guys some spoilery insight as to what's coming up next.
