The estranged exes will be taping the current season for months to come but their bitter feud is making things rather uncomfortable both on and off the set.
According to Radar Online, Tarek is doing everything he can to make things difficult for Christina while they film the series. Sources state he has been bragging about sleeping with multiple girls, including a friend of Alyssa Logan, the couple's nanny who was linked to Tarek months ago.
Although the network continues to film the upcoming season of "Flip or Flop," it will be interesting to see if Christina and Tarek's issues off the set help or hurt their ratings when the new season airs. Fans who have been keeping up with all of the gossip surrounding Christina and Tarek's divorce may have an extra reason to watch — to see how they mesh now that they've split — and that could be a big ratings win for HGTV.
Christina is disgusted with Tarek
According to Us Weekly's source, Christina has had enough of Tarek's bragging about the women he's supposedly slept with, something he reportedly brags about to "piss her off." The source goes on to say that Christina thinks her ex is "an absolute pig" and filming the show is "really, really messy."
And with word that there is so much tension on the "Flip or Flop" set, it's not surprising to hear that they may not return for another season.
After all, it doesn't sound like they will be going from battling exes to friends anytime soon.
Tarek finally files for divorce
Christina and Tarek El Moussa split in May amidst allegations that Christina had an affair with a friend of the family, Gary Anderson. Although the couple separated when the drama started, Radar reports that Tarek just got around to filing a few weeks ago.
Expect the couple, who are parents of two young children, to stay in the headlines for months to come. Hollywood divorces always seem to drag out longer than they should and the El Moussa's split is certainly one that will have HGTV fans buzzing during the upcoming season of "Flip or Flop."
