It goes without saying that the year 2021 was the worst in the current century for many. Particularly, gamers have had it rough, albeit being able to play this year’s hottest Video Games as long as they wanted thanks to the lockdown. That’s because there have also been a lot of disappointing video games to endure.
Now that the year is coming to a close, it only fits to look back at those horrible titles and discern which ones were the worst of the lot. So without further ado, here are the 5 worst video games of 2020.
'Cyberpunk 2077' (PS4/Xbox One)
'Cyberpunk 2077' was originally meant for 2019 but was delayed until Dec 2020. As such, this dystopian RPG was seen by many as the swan song of 2020. Unfortunately, the game came infested with game-breaking bugs on launch. Although the PC and next-gen console versions were patched successfully, the last-gen console versions remain in complete disarray.
'Fast & Furious Crossroads'
Movie tie-in games aren't worth the investment, even if they’re based on some of the hottest blockbusters. Unfortunately, the brains at Slightly Mad Studios didn't realize this when they tried to adapt the Fast & Furious movie franchise. Everything about 'Crossroads' was underwhelming, from the short story mode to horrendous physics. Even the performances from the film actors reprising their roles couldn't save it from the scrap heap.
