The American college basketball players who recently returned from china after being detained on shoplifting charges, may not realize how truly lucky they are. The Chinese government treats many of its prisoners brutally, especially if they are practitioners of a spiritual practice called Falun Gong. In all parts of the world, shoplifting is a crime. In most civilized places in the world, participating in a spiritual practice or religion is not a crime.
It is a matter of personal choice...not in China.
Recent arrests in China where Falun Gong spirituality is a crime
If you practice Falun Gong in China, you can be arrested. Just ask a woman named Gong Xiaoyan, who lives in the Silicon Valley in the USA. The Epoch Times reported recently that her father Gong Pigi, who is 62, had his house ransacked by the Chinese police, his life savings of around the equivalent of $29,000 in cash was stolen from his home, and he was thrown in jail.
This is the second time he has been incarcerated for following a peaceful spiritual practice that consists mostly of elegant physical exercises for balance, harmony, and meditation to calm the mind.
He has been denied access to a Chinese attorney. In China, ICN reports that besides those practicing Falun Gong, even the human rights lawyers are thrown in jail as well.
Chinese brutality treats Falun Gong people as organ farms
The Chinese government is exceedingly brutal to these people. Not only are they arrested, they are kept alive in concentration camps to have their “fresh” human organs removed and then sold to the Chinese hospitals for transplantation. One surgeon from China admitted to removing the cornea from the eyes of over 2,000 Falun Gong practitioners, while they are still alive. This procedure blinds them in that eye.
Proof of China’s abuse of Falun Gong practitioners
Information gathered by Minghui.org showed that starting from around 2006 some hospitals in China were advertising that a suitable organ for transplantation could be available in one to four weeks.
This is not possible unless there were a huge number of Chinese donors to harvest the organs from, while they were still alive. Those organs were coming from Falun Gong prisoners.
Investigative journalists, pretending to be patients that needed a transplant, called the hospitals in China. The doctors readily said that they had Chinese organs available and that they come from healthy Falun Gong practitioners.
What does China have against Falun Gong?
The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners seems insane because this spiritual practice of Falun Dafa teaches truthfulness, tolerance, and compassion. They wish no harm to anyone. They do not drink or use drugs. That is why before the Chinese crackdown, the practice rapidly gained over 100,000,000 followers in China.
It even had supporters at the highest levels of the CCP.
Everything changed when the Chinese government became frightened of the many millions of Falun Gong practitioners that could amass for a peaceful protest. This is why the crackdown began in 2000 and has continued to this day. Hundreds of thousands were immediately arrested and put into prison. Millions in China have suffered. Millions more fled the country.
Millions suffer in Chinese concentration camps
China has over 36 concentration camps that hold about 120,000 people in each one. That is over 4,000,000 people in forced labor camps. All of the Falun Gong inmates are political prisoners. The organ harvesting program is a diabolical plan by the CCP to eliminate these peaceful people, similar in many ways to the exterminations of the Jews in Germany during World War II.
Except, the Chinese government sells off the body parts of the prisoners, before killing them.
International condemnation
The United Nations and international human rights groups, such as Amnesty International, have resolutely condemned what the Chinese government is doing. International outcry only forced China to be more secretive about this massive organ harvesting program that continues in spite of any efforts to stop it. It is time to take action! It is time for all Americans to take personal action. There is something that each of us can do right now.
The Chinese concentration camps, where the organ harvesting occurs, are horrific places and forced labor is used to make all kind of things in China, including American-style baseball caps, which are exported and sold to the west.
Boycott Chinese products – buy American
The Proud to Buy American® Company recently announced a campaign to boycott Chinese products to help stop what is going on in China. One of the reasons that companies like the Proud to Buy American® Company and others exist is to give American consumers an option of buying American-made products. In this way, consumers, through their purchases, can demonstrate that they do not support the gross human right’s violations by the Chinese government against the Falun Gong people, which amount to genocide.
When shopping for a cool, new baseball cap, check the label or information about its origin. If it is made in China by Chinese forced labor, you do not want to buy it. Be proud to buy American instead.
