Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were once deeply in love. So much so, that they had profiles of each other tattooed on their bodies. Even with such dedication, their relationship was troublesome because of Bieber’s running around like the out-of-control teenager that he was.
The beginnings of the Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber romance
Gomez and Bieber first started dating at a very young age. The paparazzi attention was literally intolerable for anyone wanting to have even the tiniest sense of privacy. On top of this, Gomez had to deal with health issues.
She faced the lupus disease. Recently, she showed just how strong she is. She took off the summer of 2017 to have a kidney transplant. Her fans did not know about it until she went public after a full recovery from the surgery.
Gomez matured while Bieber went a bit nuts
In the meantime, over the past years, while Gomez matured, Bieber went off the rails. He had many run-ins with the law for things like driving without a license while intoxicated. He also made a public fool of himself by being photographed urinating in a janitor’s mop bucket at a performance event. He was also caught throwing eggs at his neighbor’s house. Bieber went through the terrible teens to adulthood with plenty of problems.
On the other hand, Gomez developed into a very nice young woman and consistently improved her public image.
Time to move on from The Weeknd
For most of this past year, Gomez dated a performer who goes by the moniker of “The Weeknd.” We feel a bit sorry for him because reports say he “dumped” her because she was spending too much time with the “Bieb” without telling him about it.
Certainly, the paparazzi and tabloid news became aware that Gomez and Bieber were hanging out together again and the break up with The Weeknd was inevitable.
True love is never lost
Gomez and Bieber have never really gotten over each other. Now, they are reportedly back together again with Gomez saying publicly that she thinks Bieber is now finally mature enough to be worth dating again.
There are also suggestions that both of them secretly always wanted to reconnect.
Some flames of love may go dim for a while; however, the romantic embers may also continue to smolder for quite some time after a relationship has supposedly ended. At first, Gomez said the rekindled relationship with Bieber was one of just being friends. However, now it has progressed to being friends with benefits and maybe more.
Jealous reactions are part of the process
Bella Hadid, who used to be dating The Weeknd, chimed in with the retort that she has absolutely no interest in getting back together with The Weeknd again now that he is no longer with Selena. The Weeknd went out to as many public places as possible to kiss beautiful women so that the paparazzi would take the photographs, just to get back at Gomez and Bieber.

Honestly, we liked Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez a lot when they were very young, cute, and not so jaded. However, for the most part, the fans would like to see them back together again. For all the other beautiful women out there, The Weeknd is now available. Stay tuned.
