The Kardashians are Reality TV royalties. The clan reigned supreme since it first aired "Keeping up with the Kardashians" in 2007. The entire family's rise to fame never ceased. The family's popularity is incomparable.

Every family member had their share of reality TV shows. Khloe and Kourtney had their shows, "Khloe and Kourtney take Miami" and "Khloe and Kourtney take New York." The sisters made their mark without the more famous sister, Kim.Khloe and her estranged husband, Lamar Odom also had their show, "Khloe and Lamar." The reality show featured the ups and downs of being in a relationship and how crazy it can be all together.

The show centered on the life of the couple away from the entire Kardashian family.

Just last year, it was Rob's turn to contribute. He had "rob and chyna" which featured his highly publicized relationship with Blac Chyna which recently turned sour. The show somehow showcased how high strung and extreme both Rob and Chyna are.

This time, it is the youngest of all to have her share. The show "Life of Kylie" promises to show the other side of Kylie Jenner. It recently premiered with mixed reviews.

So, did it show her raw self?

The answer is mixed. In a way yes and no. Kylie, just like the rest of her family members live lavishly. They don't drive from point A to B but take private jets. The most expensive jewelry and cars are just at their disposal.

They can have anything they want just like that.

In this aspect, the reality show showcased the lifestyle. It showed Kylie's closet full of designer shoes. It also showed her lavish house hanging out with her high-class friends.

However, this is somehow not what people wanted to see. They wanted to see Kylie Jenner in the raw, without the glamor, makeup, and extravagant life.

The viewers wanted to see her true self, her imperfections and all.

In this aspect, "Life of Kylie" did not show it. The usual lavish lifestyle still seemed to be the focal point. It veered away from showing the real sense of the star. In the end, "Life of Kylie" just showed the side of her life that everybody knows.

More to come, more to expect

The coming shows are good news. Yes, the first airing did not show what the public wants to see. However, the following episodes might. The next shows may welcome everyone to Kylie's life away from the glitz and glamor. She may even answer rumors saying that she is already married to Travis Scott.

The next episodes of "Life of Kylie" should bring in what the public expects to see from this reality show. The reality show deserves another chance. After all, it is just the first airing. The producers and executives may be saving the best for last.
