A spokesman for #Erik Prince said this week that Erik had no role whatsoever in the Trump transition team and that he had noting to the do with the President either. They said: “Why is the so-called under-resourced intelligence community messing around with surveillance of American citizens when they should be hunting terrorists?”
This sounds like the sort of #Bannon-inflected response to such media investigations. Shoot the messengers.
Make the public doubt the press and the government agencies as well so that Trump et al can exist in a cozy little bubble of delusion.
Governance issues with Trump
It's a familiar strategy that the #Trump administration has adopted in its many querulous and burdensome issues with #governance and legality. If you make the public doubt their grasp on reality, much like a narcissist does, then everyone will find reality too confronting to deal with and bow in defeat.
