On Tuesday, many celebrated National Siblings Day by posting pictures of their brothers and sisters while giving shout outs in the process. In following with the tradition, Donald Trump Jr. did the same for his siblings.

Since the day Donald Trump announced his campaign to run for president back in June 2015, the world has had his family front and center in the media and in American politics. Following Trump's win over Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the United States, some members of the first family have been more vocal than others.

While daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner have worked inside the White House, son Donald Trump Jr. has, along with brother Eric, been in charge with handling the family business. In the process, Don Jr. has been vocal on social media and during Fox News interviews in defense of his father while bashing critics.

As seen on his Instagram and Twitter account on April 10, Donald Trump Jr. posted an old photo of himself, brother Eric Trump and sister Ivanka Trump in honor of National Siblings Day. "Happy National Siblings Day everyone.

I couldn't be more blessed to have Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump as my siblings along with Tiffany Trump and Barron," Don Jr. wrote. "The looks have changed a bit but the fun together will always be the same," he added. In response, critics of the Trump made sure to hit back on Twitter and across all social media platforms.

Twitter reaction

After Donald Trump Jr. shared his Instagram post to his Twitter account, the president's children quickly faced criticism. "You probably have more siblings than you know," one tweet read in reference to Donald Trump's reported infidelity.

"You, your brother, and your sister (while maybe not her) are stupid," a Twitter user wrote.

"Start doing push ups for prison Junior!!" a tweet went on to read. "Hey, you are next b*tch. Get ready for the raid," yet another tweet stated in regards to the recent FBI raid of the president's lawyer Michael Cohen. "How’s Mrs. Vanessa Trump and the kids? Divorce coming along OK? What about Tiffany Trump and Barron? Not siblings to you I guess. I’m sure you have even more than you know," a tweet wondered.

"Yeah, that's about as much of a blessing as my raging hemorrhoids," a social media user wrote.

"Hopefully you both end up at the same federal prison then," a follow-up tweet went on to read. The mockery of the Trump family continued as the president sits on an approval rating of just 40 percent.
