With Donald Trump's State of the Union address just hours away, the president's team have done their best to deflect from the controversies. In her best attempt to paint the administration in a more positive light, Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox News.
Conway on Hillary
After just one year in office, Donald Trump is sitting on an approval rating of less than 40 percent. On Tuesday night, the former host of "The Apprentice" will deliver his State of the Union address, though backlash has grown with at least seven Democratic members of Congress announcing that they would not be in attendance as a form of protest.
With his speech right around the corner, Kellyanne Conway appeared on the January 29 edition of "Hannity" on Fox News to shine a brighter light on the president.
(Conway's comments about Clinton start at 3:50 in the above video.)
Joining Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday night was Presidential Counsel Kellyanne Conway as the two took shots at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton for downplaying recent bonuses being given out by big corporations due to the recent tax plan. "It sounded much like that comment 'the deplorables,'" Conway said in regards to Pelosi calling the bonuses "crumbs." "They're just so out of touch, so out of the mainstream, so out of touch with America," she added.

Not stopping there, Kellyanne Conway decided to attack Hillary Clinton after Sean Hannity brought up controversy with the FBI and the Russian investigation in yet another example of the administration's obsession with the 2016 election.
"You know what happens when we talk about the 2016 election and that woman who lost miserably who should have won that I'm not allowed to say her name anymore," Conway added in reference to Clinton.
Instant backlash
After Kellyanne Conway's appearance on "Hannity," critics wasted no time firing back. "LOL. Kellyanne. The only one out of touch is you and the other deplorables," one tweet read.
Fully agree. There is a correction coming...soon. Trump is not wise to continue to tie his policies to the stock market.

These trump mouth pieces have no shame. Let’s make sure we remember them all when this nightmare finally ends. I want to see them all either in prison, or at least unemployed, and social pariahs.

Kellyanne is a deplorable. #DumpTrump

"Is it just me or does she seem like the queen of the damned?!?" another Twitter user wrote. "Kellyanne is a deplorable," an additional tweet stated. "The Majority of Americans who voted - voted for Clinton. Trump is President - but the majority did not vote for him.
So maybe the Democrats are out of touch with the racists and bigots who voted for Trump but as a Democrat I'm REALLY REALLY GOOD with that," a follow-up tweet stated.
I’d say the most out of touch person is Punditpuss Clownway. She only surfaces from her cave when the heat is on her boss.

"I’d like to kindly request an ounce of whatever the good sis Kellyanne is smoking this evening," yet another tweet sarcastically wrote. "I’d say the most out of touch person is Punditpuss Clownway. She only surfaces from her cave when the heat is on her boss," a social media user wrote.
