White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is reportedly being investigated for obstruction in the Russia investigation and has allegedly physically threatened White House staffers. The bombshell claim was tweeted Claude Taylor, a former White House staff member from President Clinton's administration. Taylor often shares his views and any knowledge he has about what his inside sources are passing on to him, which has a history of being correct, according to Palmer Report.

Bannon under investigation?

According to Taylor, the Eastern District of Virginia confirms that Steve Bannon is under investigation for obstruction in the ever-expanding probe over collusion between the trump campaign and the Russians.

This may not come as a complete surprise given the fact that Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, is a person of interest in the investigation -- although he isn't specifically being investigated.

Trump's strategist allegedly frightened two women

Perhaps what's so startling about Taylor's tweet is that he mentioned Bannon "physically threatening WH staffers." Taylor was asked if the staffers were women and he said that's certainly the case. He elaborated further in his series of tweets by stating that Steve Bannon "confined" two staffers by blocking their access to exits.

The circumstances surrounding the unsettling claims are unknown at this point.

Several mentioned that this news isn't in the mainstream media, with Taylor saying that it would be in a matter of weeks. There's likely much more to come as this develops.

Russia investigation expands

As it stands, several in Trump's orbit are getting tangled up in the Russia investigation. Aside from Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner, Michael Flynn, Carter Page, and Paul Manafort are caught up in the frenzy.

Vice President Mike Pence, and Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, have hired attorneys to represent them in the scandal if it gets to that point.

Several other Trump advisers and aides are being subpoenaed to testify before Congress in the scandal. Word just in that Bannon is also under investigation is breaking news only just beginning to get out.

Just when the Trump-Russia scandal seems like it can't get any messier than it already is, allegations that Bannon threatened two White House staffers is shocking. Taylor wrote in one of his last tweets on the matter that "Steve Bannon is done."
