Walmart ‘saddened’ by Oklahoma woman’s death
Fox 23 News quotes Walmart as saying in a statement that the company was “saddened” by Caraway’s death.
They went on to say in their statement that they don’t have all the facts yet, but are closely cooperating with local law enforcement to provide any information they have that could be useful. Walmart said anyone requiring more information should contact the police.
As reported by Fox News, customers of the Walmart store were shocked at the thought they were shopping in the store, just a few feet away from a dead body that had been inside the bathroom for a couple of days.
One customer, Marle Lawson, told the reporter that it was hard to believe that a body had been inside that restroom for several days without someone noticing her. Lawson went on to add that everyone goes to the bathroom in Walmart, asking how her death could go unnoticed for so long.
