Nowadays, many cities around the world have a monument or a specific kind of cultural activities that difference them from others cities. However, a lot of other cities are more focused on business, on higher education institutions and nightlife entertainment; some cities mix these two categories making a great city like Cluj-Napoca, in Romania.

With a history of over twenty-one centuries, Cluj-Napoca is the second largest city of the country after the capital Bucharest.

With a population around 350,000 people, most of them young and well educated, this city has a great local economy which provides a pretty high level of living. Many important companies like Bosch or Emerson have factories and headquarters in Cluj-Napoca. More than that, Cluj-Napoca is 2015's European Youth Capital.

Firstly, Cluj-Napoca is a multicultural city and has a large number of landmark buildings and monuments. One of those is the Saint Michael's Church in Unirii Square, built at the end of the 14th century in the Gothic style of that period. Another important landmarks of Cluj-Napoca are botanical garden, Palace of Justice, Romanian National Opera or Hungarian Opera and Theater.

Also, Cluj-Napoca is the center of a many cultural events and festivals like Transylvania International Film Festival or Untold Festival, which had an audience of over 230,000 people for its first edition this year. With artists like David Guetta, Avicii or John Newman together with other famous artists by electronic and rock music, Cluj had four magic days full of music and entertainment for Romanians and other people around the world.

In this way, Cluj-Napoca is one of the best cities in entertainment and nightlife. This city has many options for entertainment, that include many clubs with all genres of music and a lot of bars and pubs, almost all of them situated in center of the city. In other way, higher education has a long tradition in Cluj-Napoca.

The Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) is the largest in the country, with approximately 55,000 students attending various specializations in Romanian, English, German and Hungarian. Also, a lot of sports are encouraged by local great infrastructure (two modern stadiums, one Hall of sports and one Polyvalent Hall) In conclusion, Cluj-Napoca is a great city in all aspects with hospitable citizens and awesome places to visit, so I think it is worth to visit it.
