Epic Games has made numerous experiments with "Fortnite Battle Royale," one of the most successful video games in gaming history. The game developer has released over a hundred updates since the game came out in September 2017, and the game has entered its ninth season a few weeks ago. It appears that most of these experiments have been successful since the game has become so popular, which is why Epic Games will keep making drastic changes to "Fortnite."

While most of the changes that Epic Games released appeared in regular playlists (Solo, Duos, Squads), some of them were exclusive to limited-time game modes.

The game creator has also used limited-time game modes to test certain things before releasing them to regular playlists, and that could be the case with the "Prop Hunt" LTM. This mode will bring a new item that will let players transform into any other in-game object and its gameplay has been leaked.

'Prop Hunt' limited-time game mode will be unique

The "Prop Hunt" limited-time game mode has been found by data miners when the v9.10 update for "Fortnite Battle Royale" came out. Data miners have found multiple references to this game mode in the game data, including the item that will be exclusive to this LTM. This mode will most likely be released soon since Epic Games has allowed a few big-name streamers to leak its gameplay before the release.

The game mode will feature the Prop-o-Matic weapon which will allow players to turn themselves into objects. "Prop Hunt" will be a battle between two teams and it is another LTM that was created in the Creative mode. One team will be Hunters who will have to prevent their enemies from collecting coins and winning the game. The other team will have to collect coins and avoid getting eliminated in order to end up victorious.

DrLupo was one of the streamers who leaked the "Prop Hunt" gameplay before its release. As you can see in the video, this is a unique game mode based on Hide and Seek game. Each match will have two rounds where players switch between Hunters and Props. Collecting one coin gives Prop team only one point while Hunters gain two points for each elimination they get.

Each round lasts five minutes and the team with more points at the end of the countdown will be a winner.

Will it be added to regular modes?

The upcoming limited-time game mode could be very popular among players due to the fact that it's unique and fun. However, the Prop-o-Matic weapon could be added to regular playlists if it turns out that players enjoy being on the Prop team. After all, it wouldn't be the first time that Epic Games added an LTM-exclusive item to regular "Fortnite Battle Royale" playlists.
