Thanks to the popularity of "Fortnite Battle Royale," Epic Games has managed to successfully partner up with some huge companies. The video game was used to promote different products, such as other video games, movies, mobile phones, and gaming consoles, and it appears that its developer will keep doing this. After all, every promotion with "Fortnite" has been successful so far, so other companies have a good reason to collaborate with Epic Games.
Besides being extremely popular among both gamers and non-gamers, the biggest achievement of "Fortnite Battle Royale" was probably the cross-platform play.
Thanks to this game, players from different systems can team up and play together, including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. Both of these consoles have had their special promotions with the game, and it turns out that Microsoft is working on another promotion with Epic Games.
Another Fortnite bundle is coming soon
Many players believed that "Fortnite Battle Royale" would only have exclusive items for PlayStation 4 players since Epic Games teamed up with Sony in 2018. Thanks to this partnership, PlayStation 4 players have received a lot of unique cosmetic items, including several packs that were available to PlayStation Plus members. In addition to this, Sony has released a special PS4 bundle which included "Fortnite Battle Royale" and the Royale Bomber skin, which was extremely rare back then.
A few months later, Microsoft has also made a deal with the "Fortnite" developer. Xbox One fans were able to purchase the exclusive Eon bundle which included a pack of cosmetic items available only to Xbox One players. This promotion has helped both companies as it boosted sales of Xbox One X while the video game has kept growing bigger.
Now, it is time for another special edition of "Fortnite Battle Royale." Microsoft will release another special bundle of its console, but this time, it will be Xbox One S. The 1 TB console will come with the popular video game, three cosmetic items, and 2,000 V-Bucks. Players will get a recolor of the Vertex skin called Dark Vertex in the package, along with a free one-month subscription for Xbox Live, EA Access, and Xbox Game Pass.
The console and the controller will be different as they will have a dark purple theme.
The price
According to WinFuture, the special bundle will cost around $299. Considering the current price of the console, this seems like a reasonable price. The cosmetic items that come with it will most likely be exclusive and this will be the only way to obtain them, which further increases their value. The bundle will be available within a few weeks.
