Building structures in “Fortnite” Battle Royale is just one of the features that made the game unique among other BR titles out there. However, there are times that it gets in the way of players winning a match due to some bugs that went live alongside a new update. This is exactly what just happened with the latest build glitch in the game after update V9.01 was rolled out.
Hitbox is too big
Reddit user u/nemqttv recently took to r/FortniteCompetitive to show the new game-breaking bug involving the brick triangle. The 12-second clip that the Redditor posted shows his character shooting another player behind the structure in question.
Albeit the fact that the receiving end’s head is poking outside the build, the player was left unharmed with the shots the Reddit user fired until the structure was destroyed.
From the looks of it, the hitbox on the triangle brick edit is quite large as it served to be somewhat of a shield for the other player. According to Fortnite Intel, the bug seems to work both ways, adding that this glitch will definitely disrupt any player’s gameplay. At the time of writing, Epic Games has yet to make an official statement about this emerging issue.

Meanwhile, massive “Fortnite” streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has stumbled upon a new Shadow Bomb exploit that lets players use the item for a longer period of time.
In his recent livestream, he demonstrated how the new exploit works and he performed several wall jumps that prolonged the effects of the Shadow Bomb. The Twitch streamer can even be heard saying “new baller” as he is referring to the exploit. With that in mind, it is expected that players will be using this newly discovered trick in both of “Fortnite’s” ongoing World Cup and Arena modes.

Previous Shadow Bomb cheeses
The Shadow Bomb was rolled out alongside the V8.51 update and within just a few hours of release, players have already discovered a couple of ways to lengthen its six-second invisibility effect. Per @humanilliance’s tweet earlier this month, if a player’s duo gets knocked out and then revived while the bomb is in effect, that player will be invisible the entire match.
He added that the player can even use weapons while performing a double jump.
Streamer TimTheTatman was one of the first to discover the other Shadow Bomb cheese and he tested his theory using a geyser within the game map. This was later on confirmed that players will remain invisible while they are gliding. Update V8.51 also brought in another bug where players get insta-killed on a certain area on the map (specifically Knepley’s Pawnshop in the now destroyed Tilted).
