"Fortnite Battle Royale" will soon get another weekly update. Epic Games has released two updates in Season 8 so far, besides the v8.00 patch, and next Tuesday (March 19), another patch will arrive. Thanks to data miners, we know a few things that will be added in the future. One of those things is the Flint-Knock Pistol, although it is currently unknown when exactly it will be released to the live servers.

The upcoming pistol looks similar to the Revolver that was in the popular video game for over five seasons. The Revolver is one of the weapons that originally appeared in "Fortnite Battle Royale" in September 2017, but the weapon was vaulted with the patch v5.40.

It seems that the Flint-Knock Pistol is an improved variant of the Revolver, and its stats look very good!

Pistol stats have been revealed

The Flint-Knock Pistol will be released in two variants, common (gray), and uncommon (green). There will be some small differences between the variants, with the biggest ones being damage and reload time. In addition, the uncommon pistol will deal out more environmental damage. Keep in mind that the stats below are the current stats of the weapon. Considering that it hasn't been released to "Fortnite Battle Royale," yet, Epic Games may decide to make a few changes to it before the official release.

The common variant of the Flint-Knock Pistol will deal 86 body shot damage and its fire rate will be 0.33.

The damage will fall off to 51.6 from medium range and 34.4 from its maximum range. It will only have one bullet in the magazine and will take 3.19 seconds to fully reload. The impact damage from the point blank range will be 131, 78.6 from the mid-range, and 52.4 from the long range.

The better variant of the weapon will have the base damage set at 90 with the same fire rate and faster reload time.

The weapon will deal 54 damage from medium range, while its maximum player damage from long range will be 36. This variant will take 3.045 seconds to reload and its environmental damage will be slightly higher: 138 from the point-blank range and 82.8 and 55.2 damage from medium and long range respectively.

Hand Cannon going to the vault?

Just like the Hand Cannon, the Flint-Knock Pistol will use Heavy Bullets. However, its fire rate is much slower than the fire rate of Hand Cannon, and its environmental damage is much lower. Despite these differences, it wouldn't be surprising if the "Fortnite" developer vaults the Hand Cannon, especially since a lot of players and streamers have recently complained about it.
