Considering that "Fortnite" has a serious competitor in "Apex Legends," its developer will have to do a great job to keep the playerbase.
Speaking of "Apex Legends," this popular video game has the respawn mechanic, which is something that is unique.
Most battle royale games only give one life to all players and allow reviving in duos, squads, and other big-team modes. However, "Apex Legends" players are able to respawn even after dying. According to an Epic Games developer, this is something that will be added to "Fortnite Battle Royale," possibly in the next season.

"We’ve been considering this mechanic for a while and have been exploring it. Want to make sure we give it the time it needs and fully understand its impact on the game as a whole. Look for further updates during Season 8," is what RZElive of Epic Games responded to the question about respawning in the PvP mode of "Fortnite."
Season 8 changes
Epic Games will remove the X-4 Stormwing from the game in Season 8.
Additionally, console players will get more options for graphical settings and will be able to turn Motion Blur off. Once again, we can expect some huge map changes, although the developer hasn't revealed anything about this year.
There have been two Season 8 teasers so far, hinting at the pirate theme and snakes. The season starts in just two days, so make sure you are ready on Thursday!
