"Fortnite Battle Royale" probably reached its peak last year, but Epic Games is still keeping it incredibly popular. Whether you are a hardcore gamer or a person who plays video games casually, there is a good chance that you have already tried playing this popular video game. There is a good chance that "Fortnite" is going to stay very popular for at least one more year.

The popularity of "Fortnite Battle Royale" comes from the fantastic job of its developer since its release in September 2017. While the game is free, many other free games haven't achieved this level of success.

It turns out that Epic Games is far from done with "Fortnite," as the development team is preparing another huge feature for it. Some players have been invited to its testing, and the feature will most likely come out within the next two to three months.

The new feature

I don't know all the details about the upcoming "Fortnite Battle Royale" feature. However, I believe that it is going to let players spectate their friends at any moment. This is something a lot of players have asked for, and it appears that it will come very soon. YouTuber BlueNightEdgar is one of the players who has received the invitation for private testing. Players have been asked to “test unreleased spectating tools and features” in early February, which means that we might get these tools and features by March.

This information comes from reports by Dexerto

The first session will be held on Monday, February 4, and will be one of seven different sessions players will participate in. According to an e-mail sent to BlueNightEdgar, the testing phase will conclude on Tuesday, February 12. Players will participate in custom matches that have the new features enabled.

Additionally, they will be compensated with food and V-Bucks during the private testing event.

'Join as a Player' feature

Some players have spotted the "Join as a Player" button in the game mode selection in "Fortnite Battle Royale." While this was most likely a glitch, there is a good chance that Epic Games has accidentally leaked the upcoming feature.

While it is currently unknown what this feature is going to do, players believe that it will either let them spectate an entire match or simply join a lobby if there are under 100 players in it. No matter what it is, it is definitely a good thing that Epic Games has started doing detailed testing on new features, and we can expect more tests this year, even though there is a massive flaw in the game.
