Epic Games have released two huge "Fortnite Battle Royale" updates in the last two weeks. The third v7.10 content update has brought numerous balance changes to the popular video game, while the v7.20 patch was even bigger. Players have gotten a new item, plenty of bug fixes, and new additions and changes to all three modes of "Fortnite." The video game developer has revealed some plans for the future of the game, and we will get another buff soon.
The Bush is finally going to be buffed, according to Epic Games. This item has been in the game for around 15 months, and it has received almost no changes.
The only change the Bush has been affected by was the patch v5.10 change which removed this item from supply drops. There have been no nerfs or buffs for this item since its release, but that is going to change very soon.
The Bush is going to be much more useful
The Bush was released during the first season of "Fortnite Battle Royale" with the v1.8.2 patch. When it was just released, this item was used by a lot of players. However, players rarely use it nowadays, and most players never even pick it up. The primary purpose of the item is stealth, but most skilled players don't use stealth anymore. Additionally, the Bush is not useful on the desert biome or the snowy area of the island.
While many players wonder why Epic Games hasn't removed this item yet, it is very unlikely that it will be removed in the near future.
Instead, the game developer is going to buff it and make it more useful. At the moment, there is no specific info on what these changes are going to be, but an Epic Games developer has talked about potential buffs on Reddit.
Eric Williamson, "Fortnite's" Design Lead announced a few upcoming changes for the Bush on Reddit. Williamson said that the development team has been looking at different ways to increase the effectiveness of this Legendary item.
"There's a number of ways we've discussed improving it... having multiple charges, or being auto-enabled while it's in inventory (like Jetpacks) and can't be shut off. Reducing the leaves that block your view has come up a number of times since that can be a point of frustration," the developer posted.
The Snowman
While we are waiting for these buffs, it appears that the "Fortnite" developer is going to release a snowman item.
This item is similar to the Bush and will be used for camouflage in the snowy areas of the map. Right now, it is unknown when the item will come out, but we can expect it to be released with the v7.20 content update next week.
