Epic Games, “Fortnite” game developer, recently tried to crack down on leakers and even went further by handling this problem through legal action. The game developer sent a cease and desist order to one of the most popular accounts that were leaking info about the game. However, these measures did not stop several data miners from digging through the files of the popular title to get whatever details they can prior to the release in the game.

Latest leak

Recently, a data miner named lucas7/Yoshi shared on his Twitter account the upcoming challenges that “Fortnite” players will face in Season 7 Week 3.

The challenges are scheduled to go live in the popular title on December 20, 2018. These details, however, should be taken with a grain of salt since Epic Games has a reputation of making last-minute changes to the Challenges of the game especially as the update is set before these go live. There are even instances that the game developer delays it before their inclusion to the title. This leaked information could be potential placeholders since Epic Games is known to conceal some of the challenges.

Datamined info

Among the details discovered by data miner lucas7/Yoshi are the following:

Challenges: Battle Pass

  • 5 Battle Stars- Deal with 500 damage using Pistols to enemies
  • 5 Battle Stars- Ring the doorbell of the house with the enemy inside in three various matches
  • 10 Battle Stars- (Hard) Three SMG Eliminations
  • 10 Battle Stars- Three Pistol Eliminations

As for the Free Challenges, the data miner discovered the following:

  • 5 Battle Stars- Ride a Zipline in five various competitions
  • Stage 1, one Battle Star – Land at Lonely Lodge
  • Stage 2, one Battle Star – Land at Pleasant Park
  • Stage 3, one Battle Star – Land at Lazy Links
  • Stage 4, One Battle Star- Land at Tilted Towers
  • 10 Battle Stars (Hard) Legendary Weapon Eliminations

In some parts, this information about the Challenges in Season 7 Week 3 of “Fortnite” may appear rather run-of-the-mill.

However, the zip line challenge seems to make sense with the inclusion of the winter biome as well as the landing challenge that sidetracks away from that biome. This perfectly fits the series of challenges dispersing the action all through the battle island. The Season 7 Week 2 Challenges saw the comeback of the sheet music challenge, so the doorbell challenge just seems to make sense.

But, this is not to say that the latest leak is flawless and accurate at all. The double pistol SMG elimination challenges appear to be out of line. All we have to do is wait until the release of the in-game challenges. At this point, it is difficult to claim which of these challenges will really be on the game.
