Epic Games have announced another big "Fortnite Battle Royale" tournament. After Summer Skirmish, Fall Skirmish, and numerous in-game events, players will soon have a chance to compete in a big tournament and even win some money! The video game creator had announced that a total of $100 million would be spent on the competitive play in "Fortnite Battle Royale," and everyone will have a chance to participate in the competitive season.

The "Fortnite" developer has recently added pop-up cups to the popular video game. These cups are similar to limited-time game modes, but they are competitive modes and players earn ranking points in them.

More pop-up cups will be added to the game soon, and Epic Games will use these tournaments to test different changes and items. One of the events that will be added soon is the Winter Royale competition, and the prize pool will be $1 million!

Winter Royale competition with $1 million prize pool

"Fortnite Battle Royale" players will have a chance to participate in the Winter Royale competition in just a few days. This will be a solo test event that will consist of two parts, qualifiers and finals, and best performers will split $1 million among themselves.

"There will be several chances for anyone to try and get a high score during the Winter Royale Qualifier days. The highest score you achieve during any event session will be the one that counts, so be sure to give it your all!" is what Epic Games posted on their blog.

It is important to note that the first Winter Royale event will be limited to Europe and North America. However, the game developer will include the other regions to the upcoming tournament. The qualifying round starts on November 24 and lasts for a day. European Winter Royale finals will start on November 30, while the North American competition will conclude on December 11.

Players will have to check the events tab for the upcoming tournament to see when exactly it starts in their region. Considering that players will have only one day to qualify for the final, it won't be surprising if the video game breaks another record for concurrent players. The current record is 8.3 million, which makes "Fortnite Battle Royale" the record holder in most concurrent players of all time.

Fortnite World Cup

Epic Games have announced that the Fortnite World Cup would start next year. While the exact date is still unknown, we can expect it to start during summer. Players from all around the world will have a chance to compete and win big money, and there is no doubt that the competition will be very interesting.
