The latest updates for "Red Dead Redemption 2" reveal new details about the game possibly being ported to the PC platform. Fan website, Rockstar Intel, posted a fair amount of program algorithms related to the western game and two of these are related to the PC version.

GameSpot gave some insight into how to unlock the cheat codes within the game. "RDR2" is a prequel from the first game and it tells the story of Arthur Morgan, a veteran member of the Van der Linde gang and they are on the run from the law after a botched train robbery. Arthur must help his gang survive the harsh open-world of the Frontier as he hunts, steals, and fight his way to victory.

PC version clues

According to Rockstar Intel, the algorithm codes are found in the "Red Dead Redemption 2" app and they discovered that it had the words "PC" and "Oculus" written on it, indicating that Rockstar Games is planning to port the western prequel into the PC platform and will likely feature a virtual reality experience.

While Rockstar Games has not made any comments regarding the posted algorithm, video game fans believed that the publisher is heading to that direction anyway, since they did the same thing with "Grand Theft Auto 5." Not to mention that European retailer, MediaMarkt put a placeholder of the PC version on December 31, 2019.

The game is currently out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and players are amazed by its impressive open-world exploration, interesting and intriguing characters, fun-filled side activities, and heart-pounding gunfights.

Players will travel to seven locations on the Frontier as they must do missions involving heists, extortion, and gang warfare.

Players can hunt down wild animals for food, trade, camp decorations, or even clothing to survive extreme weather conditions.

Unlocking cheat codes

According to GameSpot, "Red Dead Redemption 2" will feature players unlocking numerous cheat codes within the game using odd gimmicks serving as clues or passwords to it.

Players must access the Cheat Menu on the Settings option and press the triangle or Y button to pull it up.

The tricky part is that players must type in the correct phrase on the Cheat Menu to activate the cheat, but others will require some extra time and effort. Some of the phrases can be found all over the map from Newspapers and post signs to warning notes and wall writing.

The game cheats include Infinite ammo, getting Arthur drunk all the time, unlocking the whole map, full health, and more. However, when the cheats are activated, players will not be awarded the in-game Trophies and Achievements in the story.
