The video sees Sora, Goofy, and Donald landing on the San Fransokyo bridge as the Heartless invade the city. They meet Hiro, Baymax, and the rest of the Big Hero 6 team as they work together to stop the Heartless.
The trailer also revealed a new Keyblade transformation based on Baymax's superhero armor. New Disney characters are introduced in the trailer such as Go Go, Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Fred, Randall Boggs from "Monsters Inc.," and Flynn from "Tangled." Square Enix previously showcased the worlds of "Frozen" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" at the Electronic Entertainment Expo event.
Other Disney Worlds that were added in the game include "Toy Story," "Hercules," and "Ratatouille."
The Gummi Ship also returns to the sequel and players can select any ship they want or build their own ship to travel into different Disney Worlds. Game director Tetsuya Nomura told Segment Next in a previous interview that the Gummi Ship segments will be handled by the team that created the 1997 video game, "Einhander."
