One of the missing third generation Pokemon known as Spinda arrived in the game a few days ago. According to Developer Niantic, it was problematic just like Ditto in past generations. Nevertheless, the long-awaited generation 3 Pokemon was quietly released it into the game. Interestingly, this new Pokemon does not evolve into or from any Pokemon and will be featured in the upcoming August Field Research. Active players will have the opportunity to catch the fairly unique Pokemon and its eight forms during the quest.

The August Field Research is a quest newly introduced into the game with new activities for players to accomplish.

Although the quest will feature other Pokemon such as the Legendary Pokemon Raikou, Shiny Dratini, Houndour, and Snubbull, Spinda seems to be the special Pokemon every player wants to capture since the dizzy panda will be appearing for the first time.

’Pokemon GO’ Spinda and its variants

Spinda is a Normal-type third generation Pokemon. The rabbit-like pokemon has unique abilities. It has a wide variety of forms which can be differentiated by the markings found on its body. However, Developer Niantic chose to release eight into the hit game.

According to Daily Star, the dizzy panda has a maximum CP of 466 and minimum CP of 431. Unlike other Pokemon, Spinda can only be encountered by completing one of the ”Pokemon GO” August Field Researches.

According to US GAMER, players will need to spin Pokestop discs, pick up the quest, land three curveballs in a row, head over to the research menu, click the binoculars icon and get the chance to encounter Spinda.

Interestingly, like other research reward catches, it won’t run away. So, take your time in capturing the rabbit-like creature. Players who want to get all eight Spinda variants need to spin as many Pokestops as they

How to land the curve balls

Landing the curveballs isn’t difficult. After the ball has been spun around on the catch screen, wait for a sparkle around on the catch screen, and then angle it off to the side so that it curves and hits the Pokemon.

Throwing the Pokeball directly at the Pokemon, as usual, won’t work. Players must ensure that it curves either by throwing it slightly to the right or left before hitting the pokemon. However, how far it will be thrown depends on how distant the pokemon is. If the pokemon is far, throw it high and slightly to the right or left. But if it is near, the Pokeball should be thrown low and further to the left or right.
