"Fortnite Battle Royale" players have recently had a chance to unlock the exclusive Road Trip skin. This skin requires players to complete all challenges in seven different weeks, and players can unlock its back bling after completing challenges in nine different weeks. Recently, Week 8 challenges were leaked online and players can see what's waiting for them later this week. That includes upcoming map changes.

Week 8 will be the same as the previous week, as it will have seven challenges. Once again, three of these challenges will be available to every "Fortnite Battle Royale" player, while all of them will be available only to those who bought season 5 Battle Pass.

These challenges are supposed to be released on Thursday, August 30, but Epic Games may decide to postpone them for Friday (August 31) or the upcoming weekend. A competitive system is also coming to "Fortnite Battle Royale" this fall. The sections below cover what's waiting for "Fortnite" players this week.

Free challenges

The first Week 8 challenge will be extremely simple and will be one of the easiest challenges. To complete it, players will have to put down 10 traps. There is no elimination requirement, so all players have to do to complete this task is to place 10 traps, and that's it!

The second challenge will have players go to Wailing Woods to open seven chests. Considering that this area doesn't have too many chests, this task will be tricky.

Finally, "Fortnite Battle Royale" players will be required to get four shotgun eliminations for the final free challenge.

Battle Pass challenges

The first challenge in this category will have players hit their enemies with a pickaxe. To complete it, players will have to deal 250 pickaxe damage to their opponents. Even though this could be difficult, players can complete it easily by finishing off downed players with a pickaxe.

Another task will be to use a rift at 10 different spawn locations. At the moment, it is unclear whether this challenge will require players to use Rift-to-Go item or simply go through different rift portals that are spawned on the island.

The third challenge will reward players with 10 Battle Stars and it will be the first hard challenge in this category.

To complete it, players will have to find a secret Battle Star between three oversized seats.

Finally, there will be another creative challenge in Week 8. Week 7 introduced a dynamic challenge, which makes players progress through different phases. In Week 7, players had to search chests in a specific order, while Week 8 will require them to get eliminations at different locations.
