"Fortnite Battle Royale" players witnessed a fantastic introduction for Season 4 as Epic Games showered meteors all over the in-game island. In addition to this event in the game, another meteor hit Dusty Depot, creating a huge crater at the beginning of the fourth season. Now, it seems that the "Fortnite" developer has another big event for the upcoming season.

If you have played the game recently, you have probably noticed a countdown timer that appears on television sets in the game.

This countdown will hit zero on Saturday, and this is when Epic Games will supposedly begin the big event. According to Muselk, a "Fortnite Battle Royale" YouTube personality, players who want to witness the event will have to be at the rocket at 1:30 PM ET on Saturday.

The big event

Season 4 brought many changes to "Fortnite Battle Royale," and one of those changes was the secret base that can be found above Snobby Shores. This base is used by villains and a missile can be found in it. According to some leaks, this missile will be launched and it will destroy one of the in-game areas.

It seems that the missile launch will happen on Saturday, June 30, and that players will be able to witness it in the game.

This "Fortnite Battle Royale" event will only happen once, so if you have a chance, make sure you log in and visit the secret base!

This event will be different from the meteor event, as players will be able to see it only once. Considering that this will be a "once in a lifetime" event, many "Fortnite" players will try to get online to see it, so hopefully servers will be able to handle all this pressure. At the moment of this writing, Epic Games is working on getting Playground limited-time game mode back on, but this mode might be postponed until Saturday afternoon.

Where will the missile land?

Early Season 4 leaks indicated that the missile will land at Moisty Mire and completely destroy this area.

However, it seems that it will land somewhere else as players have seen one part of the missile at Anarchy Acres.

If you look at the in-game map, the villain base is located on the western side. Anarchy Acres is northeast from this base, which means that the missile was launched towards either north, east, or northeast. As the picture above shows, thrusters of the missile were found on the farm, which makes it very likely that the missile was actually going towards Wailing Woods, which is all the way on the eastern side of the island.
