Patch notes for "Fortnite" update V4.2 have been rolled out as it officially introduced the Burst Assault Rifle. It looks like more updates are set to come out thanks to datamining efforts.

New leaks

An upcoming wave of cosmetics is heading towards "Fortnite's" Battle Royale mode as its game files were datamined yet again. At the time of writing, a total of 19 cosmetics were discovered by various leakers (@TwoEpicBuddies, u/Cepren, and JH9), and their rarities and V-Buck prices were also detailed (prices may still change though). Per the recent leaks, here is the roster of the upcoming items:

Outfits

  • Moisty Merman (Legendary) – 2,000 V-Bucks (with Mertank Back Bling)
  • Venturion (Epic) - 1,500 V-Bucks
  • Hazard Agent (Epic) - 1,500 V-Bucks (with Contagion Back Bling)
  • Toxic Trooper (Epic) - 1,500 V-Bucks (with Pathogen Back Bling)
  • Bandolier (Epic) - 1,500 V-Bucks

Gliders

  • Triumph (Uncommon) - 500 V-Bucks
  • Meltdown (Uncommon) - 500 V-Bucks

Harvesting Tools (Pickaxes)

  • Stop Axe (Rare) - 800 V-Bucks

In line with this, @TwoEpicBuddies also tweeted a couple of new loading screens.

They also pointed out that these may provide hints as to where the two Battle Pass Stars can be located in the game. They also revealed that the previously shelved Jetpack might finally be introduced in the game, though they are still uncertain if this will be rolled out this week or the next.

Jetpack?

Prior to such leaks, the German duo recently visited the "Fortnite" game files and discovered some assets that were hinting about the item. A couple of them were dug up, which hint at the Jetpack having some fuel gauge and a progress bar/fuel bar. They also came with an asset that teases something about a massive gadget. Now that quite a lot has been spilled by leakers and data miners, it is expected that the items mentioned above will be spotted in the game in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the latest game tweak also brought in apples as "Fortnite" BR's latest foraged item. Per the patch notes, the consumable will grant players five health (up to 100) and can be found on certain trees across the map. Check out a video about the game here:
