"Pokemon GO" -- the mobile Pokemon game that came out almost two years ago -- is still going strong in the game department. Players have been chasing down Pokemon in order to catch the best to make their teams unstoppable. Legendary Pokemon have been released for any player who is capable of capturing them. According to IGN, two more legendary Pokemon are available as of April 2; they are Latias and Latios.

The release of Latias and Latios comes a little after "Pokemon GO" released their new quest system which also gives players a chance to capture the Mythical Pokemon, Mew.

Latias and Latios are the fourth and fifth legendary Pokemon to be released in the game, following Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. These Pokemon are all from generation three. Several others from the same generation such as: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, along with the Mythical Pokemon, Deoxys, have not been released yet. Hopefully in the next few months, these three Legendary Pokemon and the Mythical Pokemon will make an appearance in the game.

Where to find Latias and Latios

Similar to most Legendary Pokemon, Latias and Latios will only appear in Raid Battles as Gyms. Players wll have to team-up with one another to battle the Pokemon, and only when the Legendaries are defeated will the players have a chance to capture them.

Players will have to alter their teams multiple times before finding the right one to take down the Legendary Pokemon.

How to beat Latias and Latios

Latias and Latios are both dual Psychic/Dragon types and are particularly vulnerable to Dark and Fairy types. According to Gamespot, players who do not happen to have either Dark or Fairy types in their collection still have a chance to take down the two.

Niantic, the developer, says that Tyranitar and Mawile will be appearing in Raid Battles so players can capture them and form a powerful team able to take on Latias And Latios.

Catch Latias and Latios before it's too late

Both Pokemon are only available to capture for a limited time, so players better hurry up before they miss out on such a golden opportunity.

Starting from April 2 to May 8, Latias will appear in Raid Battles in Europe and Asia, while Latios will appear in North America, South America, and Africa. Once it passes May 8, the regions where they both appear will switch. After the switch, players will only have until June 5 to capture them before they disappear from the game.
