Bungie has officially rolled out the much-awaited "Destiny 2" March patch dubbed the 'Go Fast Update.' The latest game tweak has completely overhauled the online-only shooter's Sandbox and has ushered in some new weapons and gear to grind for.
New weapons and exotics
Players are now picking up some of these new weapons and exotics and one of them is a new legendary sniper rifle known as the Silicon Neuroma. This can be obtained from the Pyramidion Strike and has some nifty weapon perks:
- Aggressive Frame
- Polygonal Rifling
- Corkscrew Rifling
- Arrowhead Brake
- Accurized Rounds
- Flared Magwell
- Snapshot Sights
- Opening Shot
YouTuber and "Destiny 2" player xHOUNDISHx recently uploaded a video about the new weapon and it can be observed how quick its ADS (aim down sights) is, not to mention the minimal scope sway (his perk setup was Arrowhead Brake, Flared Magwell, and Snapshot Sights).
He also commended the scope zoom adding that it is perfect for PvP.
Another weapon that hit the "Destiny 2" database is Duty Bound. It is a legendary auto rifle that can be obtained from the Savathun's Song Nightfall Strike as it has the following perks:
- Adaptive Frame
- Fastdraw IS
- Red Dot-ORS1
- Ricochet Rounds
- Accurized Rounds
- Zen Moment
- Rampage
A legendary hand cannon - the D.F.A. - is the third addition to "Destiny 2's" weapon roster. This can be found in The Tree of Probabilities Strike alongside its perks:
- Adaptive Frame
- Arrowhead Brake
- Polygonal Rifling
- Extended Barrel
- Accurized Rounds
- Drop Mag
- Opening Shot
- Rampage
Bungie also chipped in four new Exotics in the game that can be also found on various Nightfall Strikes in the game.
These are:
- The Impact Velocity Exotic Sparrow that can be found in the Exodus Crash Strike
- Tilt Fuse is another Exotic Sparrow and players can get it in The Arms Dealer Strike
- A new Exotic Ghost Shell dubbed as Trichromatica can be obtained from The Inverted Spire
- Lastly, the Exotic Ship known as Universal Wavefunction can be acquired in A Garden World Nightfall Strike
Crucible changes
All these abovementioned Exotics including the legendary weapons, come with their respective lore tabs for fans who are into the "Destiny" mythos.
This massive update has also brought in some changes in the game's Crucible Playlist that started off with Rumble that is now an eight-player free-for-all shoot fest. This will be followed by Mayhem on April 3 and soon be replaced by the 6v6 Iron Banner event on April 10. Check out a video about "Destiny 2" here:
