Pokémon Go Valentine’s Day event

According to Forbes, this year’s Pokémon Go Valentine’s Day event is smaller than expected. Nevertheless, fans were excited because it had something new and better to offer. During the previous year’s event, there were increased spawns of Pink Pokémon, while this year, there were spawns of Pink Pokémon while this year, there were swarms of heart-shaped fishes all over the place to keep players in the spirit of Valentine.

The rare shiny pink Pokémon featured in this year’s Valentine’s Day event was Luvdisc, a Water-type Pokémon which awards triple Stardust for each one caught. Although the event wasn’t quite what players thought it would be, Catching Luvdisc made the event interesting.

The good thing about this creature is that it offers a 3X increase in Stardust when caught and comparing that to the recent sale of Star piece means it is a lucrative source of Stardust.

The new huge quest data has been removed

Niantic has removed the newly added huge feature from the game in the latest round of updates. According to Developer Niantic, the new feature which was expected to introduce single player content and also replace the spin and catch bonuses gotten from PokeStops and Pokemon battles was removed from the game because it added more bugs to the already existing one, thereby making the bugs more difficult to fix.

Nevertheless, the removal of the latent code suggests that Pokémon Go Developer Niantic is making great progress on the feature. Hardcore fans think they made the right decision by removing the feature not minding how they wanted it badly. While fans are still awaiting the addition of this feature to the game again, it seems Niantic has plans to hit the game with a major update together with the social features. Right now the game is available for both Android and IOS devices.
