"Fortnite" Battle Royale players have a great chance to win some valuable rewards this month. Epic Games is feeling generous and rewarding players for simply playing the game! At the moment, there is a "Fortnite" Battle Royale tournament at DreamHack that has a prize pool of over $14,000. In addition, players can win brand new Xbox One X consoles by submitting their best in-game clips.

To provide some background, Epic Games recently added an Xbox One X support for "Fortnite" Battle Royale. The new Xbox console is much more powerful than Xbox One and it's arguably the most powerful console on the market.

"Fortnite" developer started an event named "Xbox One X-travaganza," giving players a great opportunity to win three Xbox One X consoles among other rewards.

Contest rules

In order to win an Xbox One X, which is a grand prize, "Fortnite" Battle Royale players have to send their best in-game clips to the game developer. There are three different categories, and each category will reward a winner with a brand new console. Runners-up will receive rewards too as they will be given a "Fortnite" Battle Royale Victory Royale hat and a shirt.

The first category is the best solo play. In this category, players have to show off their solo performance using building, shooting skills, or hype battles. The second category will be the best squad play and players will have to submit their best teamwork.

Lastly, players will be rewarded for the best unexpected play.

The contest started on December 1 and it ends on December 12. Players have to submit their clips by 11:59 PM EST on December 12 to be eligible for the contest.

Video clips have to be sent to XboxFNBR@fortnite.com. "Fortnite" Battle Royale players have to write "Xbox One X-travaganza" as a subject line and they have to include their full name and e-mail address.

Additional rules and regulations

There are a few more rules players will have to follow in order for their submissions to be eligible for the Xbox One X contest.

  • The contest is open to adults and is available worldwide
  • All entries must be submitted during the contest period
  • Only one submission is allowed per individual; every other submission will be disregarded
  • Submissions have to be put on a video-sharing website, such as YouTube or Twitch, and have to be accessible by everyone
  • Submissions must not contain any nudity, animal cruelty, illegal activities, and be offensive
  • Video clips have to be original and made by the person who submits the entry
